This site is run by Lumo, trading as PixelLumo, in Durban, South Africa. It collects as little as it can, and nothing for advertising. This page covers this website; each app has its own policy, linked from its project page.

What you send

  • The contact form sends your name, email address, message, and the topic you choose to Lumo by email. It is used only to reply to you.
  • The project builder saves the brief you send — your contact details, the sections you chose and the estimate shown — so the reply can refer to exactly what you saw.
  • If you ask for your message or brief to be deleted, it is deleted.

What is counted

  • A visitor counter shows how many people are on the site right now. It stores a one-way fingerprint of your connection, which cannot be turned back into your IP address, and forgets it after three minutes.
  • There is no analytics service, no advertising, and nothing on this site loads from another company's servers in your browser.

Cookies and storage

  • A session cookie, which the site needs to work and to protect its forms, and your light or dark theme choice.
  • Your browser also remembers whether you switched keyboard shortcuts off. If you play Stellar Drift on its project page, its save is kept in your browser too.

Who else is involved

  • The site is served through Cloudflare, which protects it and handles the connection; it sees requests as any network provider would.
  • If something breaks, an error report may be sent to an error-tracking service so it can be fixed. It describes the error and the page, not what you typed.
  • Payments, if you buy a website package, are handled by Paddle as the seller of record; card details never reach this site.

Your rights

  • You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, through the contact form. Under South Africa's POPIA and similar laws elsewhere, you may also complain to your data protection regulator.
